A beautiful pair of antique 19th century Indian Hindu Yali brackets / braces, these are in teak & retaining some of the original blue paint. They stand on custom bases with an vergigris copper effect that compliments the brackets. Wired, test & tagged and ready for use. Definatly a talking piece in the home.

Yali is a mythical creature seen in many Hindu temples, often sculpted onto pillars but also seen in other archiectural components. It is portrayed in different ways, as part lion, part elephant, part horse, or similar shapes.
